Tottenham: Simon Jordan says it isn't 'heartless' to sack Igor Tudor
Tottenham Hotspur are not "heartless" if they decide to sack interim boss Igor Tudor following the death of his father, says Simon Jordan.
The 47-year-old did not do his usual post-match media duties following Tottenham's 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest on Sunday due to this tragic turn of events.
On Monday, Tottenham offered their condolences to the Croatian, whose contract runs until the end of the season.
As speculation mounts over Tudor being replaced at Tottenham, ex-Crystal Palace chairman Jordan thinks if Spurs were considering dismissing him after the Forest defeat, this difficult situation shouldn't change that.
Tottenham told to separate Igor Tudor's situation with club's results
Since succeeding Thomas Frank on 13 February, Tudor has endured a wretched spell as Tottenham boss.
He is yet to win any of his five Premier League games, and Tudor suffered a 7-5 aggregate loss in the Champions League last-16 stage to Atletico Madrid.

Hundreds of millions of pounds are on the line if Tottenham get relegated, with the north London team having just seven games to save their season.
And while the optics may not look good, Jordan stressed that Tottenham have to separate the loss of Tudor's father and how the team are doing under the former Juventus boss.
He said on talkSPORT: "If Igor Tudor decides that actually this is a welcome distraction from the tragedy that he's just experienced in his life and he wants to manage the team and you as an owner think that actually you've seen all you need to see from him before the tragedy in his personal life, you're still going to have to take a view, and all people that are sitting out there go, 'That's heartless'.
"It's nothing to do with [being] heartless, it's to do with the reality of the world that we live in. There is no point keeping somebody in a job if you were going to take him out of that job prior to the tragedy that's in his life.
"It might even, without wanting to be overly harsh, it might even cement the thinking because you've got two situations."
Can Igor Tudor turn Tottenham's fortunes around?
Just when hopes were high of beating Forest after a draw at Champions League-chasing Liverpool and a spirited 3-2 win over Atletico, Tottenham were brought back down to earth on Sunday.
They were the better side for much of the first half against the Tricky Trees, but then fell apart after falling behind.
For the time being, there is very little evidence to suggest that Tudor can guide Tottenham to safety as they leak goals left, right, and centre.
Tottenham fans like to say they are a top-six club, but right now, that is no longer the case. Spurs are next in Premier League action on 12 April away to Sunderland.
The north London team have more than two weeks to decide whether or not Tudor is the right man to lead them against the Black Cats.
If not, Spurs need to make a change and fast.
