Tottenham Hotspur finally got a point on the board in the Premier League, but things still look disjointed.

Despite forking out over £300million to reinforce the squad during the summer window, Spurs have began the new campaign badly.

A comprehensive 3-0 defeat to Brentford on the opening day was followed by a 2-0 loss to Newcastle United.

Spurs stopped the rot with a goalless draw at Nottingham Forest, but it is three Premier League games without a goal now.

There are still plenty of things for Roberto De Zerbi to figure out in the coming weeks to get this Spurs side firing.

Does Roberto De Zerbi know his best attack when everyone's fit?

Spurs have a lot of options in attack now, but there are two things that still need to be figured out.

Firstly, can everyone stay fit? Secondly, despite the big outlays do they have the right quality in attack?

Summer signings from Manchester City Savio and Omar Marmoush started against Forest, while the badly out of form Mathys Tel was on the left.

Mohammed Kudus is back and could be a welcome option, while Mykhailo Mudryk made his debut off the bench.

With James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski to come back, there is a backdrop of hope that the barren run will come to an end.

Now, De Zerbi has to find the right blend to get his side firing, because right now it all looks a little limp, which given the outlay cannot continue.

Can Mykhailo Mudryk be the wildcard Tottenham need?

There has been a whole lot of negativity, mainly from the outside, about the arrival of Mudryk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Too much of the focus has been placed on a reported £75million purchase option on the Ukraine winger, back playing football after a doping ban was resolved.

Mudryk did not have the best time of it at Chelsea, who allowed him to go out on loan.

But, let's not forget he was once one of the most sought-after talents in world football, and he has played for De Zerbi for at Shakhtar Donetsk.

There should be a quiet optimism that Mudryk can be a wildcard for Tottenham. It will take time, but there should be positivity rather than negativity about his arrival.

What happens with Richarlison now?

Amid all the chaos of the transfer window, Richarlison's situation becamse somewhat of a background farce.

The Brazil international has had his struggles in a Spurs shirt, but he was one of the few to come out with some credit last season.

The 29-year-old has been bombed from the squad, though, after De Zerbi revealed he asked to leave the club.

Moves to Tottenham and Trabzonspor fell through, and now there is talk of potentially trying to tear up his contract.

It is an ugly situation for everyone involved, and it is not clear at all what happens next.

Hopefully, some sort of amicable agreement can be reached and Richarlison can continue his career elsewhere, because there is simply no chance he plays for Tottenham again.
