Tottenham Hotspur look to end their winless start to the Premier League season against Manchester United on Saturday.

Roberto De Zerbi is under growing pressure to start showing why he was brought in as Tottenham boss.

After dancing with danger over the last two seasons, Spurs didn't bring the Italian in nor spend the money they did this summer to be in another relegation battle.

However, kick-starting their campaign with three points at Old Trafford is going to be far easier said than done.

Michael Carrick's side have won just the once in the league this term, but the Red Devils consistently make their home a tough place to come for visitors.

That being said, the Lilywhites won't be best pleased with the chances of victory they've been given for this weekend.

What has supercomputer predicted to happen in Man Utd vs Tottenham?

Tottenham and Manchester United is a classic Premier League fixture, with both clubs never having been relegated since the league's 1992 inception.

Neither side are in good form coming into Saturday's 5:30pm kick-off, and so a close and tense affair could be likely.

Opta's supercomputer, however, sees it differently, handing Man United with an overwhelming 56 per cent chance of beating Tottenham.

On the other hand, Spurs are only afforded a 21.5 per cent chance of victory, with a draw left at a 22.5 chance of being the full-time outcome.

This is subject to change prior to kick-off, but it sums up the general lack of confidence in De Zerbi's side to deliver the goods at the minute.

But why shouldn't that be the case when it comes to the Lilywhites playing Man United?

What is Tottenham's recent record at Old Trafford?

Tottenham's most recent visit to the Theatre of Dreams turned into a nightmare for them, losing 2-0 back in February.

Prior to that, however, the Red Devils were on a eight-game winless run against Spurs that stretched back to October 2022.

Spurs have won one, drawn one and lost one from their last three trips to Old Trafford, so it's actually the N17 outfit who've had a better time of this fixture here in recent years.

Tottenham's most recent win at Old Trafford came in September 2024, when Dominic Solanke was among the scorers in a 3-0 victory that day.

Ange Postecoglou's side destroyed United, registering 61 per cent possession, 24 shots, 45 touches in their box and playing 562 passes - per FotMob.

So, whilst the supercomputer isn't confident of a Tottenham win, the recent form book tells a different story of Spurs' chances on Saturday.
