Real Madrid prepare double Tottenham raid as Pedro Porro tipped for summer switch

Pedro Porro could be on his way out of Tottenham at the end of this season.

Spurs have been on a decline under Thomas Frank this season, and discontent in the camp is starting to show in performances.

Cristian Romero's social media rant proved that, and ENIC have a massive job on their hands in restoring the faith among the fanbase.

Porro has drawn mixed reactions for his displays this season, but Real Madrid are clearly aware of the Spaniard's quality when he's on top of his game.

Real Madrid have already been credited with interest in Romero, as they seek defensive reinforcements ahead of a push for more glory next campaign.

The Spanish giants have also been tipped for a move for Micky van de Ven, but according to reports, the centre-back's preference is to stay in the Premier League.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes on Tuesday, Porro is on Madrid's shortlist of replacements for Dani Carvajal.

There is uncertainty around Trent Alexander-Arnold's future at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Porro is seen as a highly valued option internally.

It's not known as to how much Spurs value their right-back, but there could be a fear that he wants out, alongside other stars.

Tottenham already have back-up plan for inevitable exit

Porro could decide to stay in N17, as could van de Ven, with his only other possible destination a team in England, given recent suggestions.

So that leaves Romero. The Argentine is looking increasingly likely to leave Tottenham at the end of the season, unless there is a dramatic upturn in results.

Good thing for Spurs, though, is that Luka Vuskovic is already his replacement in the making.

Losing Romero would be awful, on the face of it, but when you consider how Vuskovic is currently developing, the pain is eased.

The teenage sensation has been given plaudits all season long while with Hamburg, and already looks like a defender fit for the Premier League. But whether or not he stays with the German side could depend on Romero's future.
