Jamie O'Hara takes aim at two Tottenham stars in angry rant vs Brentford
Tottenham Hotspur continued to be a laughing stock as they lost 3-0 away to Brentford on Saturday.
The new Premier League season was meant to represent a fresh start for the Lilywhites.
With so many new signings and big money spent, it felt like a new dawn for Roberto De Zerbi and Co.
That has quickly come crashing down to earth as Spurs were, in truth, battered by Keith Andrews' side.
There was nothing truly positive to say, especially in the first half, proven by the double change at the break.
Jamie O'Hara was left furious by what he'd seen and it didn't get any better.
What did Jamie O'Hara ask for at half time vs Brentford?
It's safe to say that everyone associated with the N17 outfit feels embarrassed after what they saw at the Gtech Community Stadium.
There were no real performances to speak of with any sort of positivity.
Lucas Bergvall and Conor Gallagher summed that up when they were hooked at half time.
They lost four duels between them in the opening 45 and looked really shaky in the middle of the park.
O'Hara took issue with the Swede, but went on to take aim at Richarlison after his early showcase.
The former midfielder took to X, writing: "Can’t believe I’m on air having to watch this guff. Get Richarlison off now. Bergvall can’t play centre midfield. What is going on?"
De Zerbi didn't get the memo and the Brazilian remained on the pitch, but he certainly shouldn't have.
Why Jamie O'Hara was right about Richarlison at Tottenham
The talkSPORT host wanted the striker removed at the interval, but didn't get his wish.
Maybe the Lilywhites would have been better off if they had done exactly that.
Richarlison featured for 68 minutes and only clocked up 22 touches and 11 completed passes.
That is hardly anything to write home about, especially given that he failed to take a shot or create a single chance.
All that frustration is only echoed by his failure to have a single touch in the Brentford box or win more than 33 per cent of his attempted duels.
He was eventually replaced by Dominic Solanke, but if that change had been made earlier, who knows what could have happened.
O'Hara might just be right...
