Mykhailo Mudryk has suffered an injury setback early in his Tottenham Hotspur career.

Spurs struck a deal with Chelsea to bring the 25-year-old Ukraine winger to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on loan late in the transfer window.

Tottenham have a reported £75million purchase option on Mudryk to make the move permanent.

He made his debut off the bench in the goalless draw at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last time out.

However, reports suggest that Mudryk is now set to be sidelined for the near future.

Which Tottenham games could Mykhailo Mudryk miss?

It is a shame for Mudryk that he is injured already, having only recently given the green light to return after a doping case was resolved.

According to talkSPORT and GiveMeSport reporter Ben Jacobs, Mudryk has sustained an ankle injury in training.

Furthermore, Mudryk is now not expected to return until the middle of October, and definitely will not play before the international break.

Looking at that timeline, the 25-year-old will definitely miss the Premier League contests with Everton and Aston Villa, and the Carabao Cup round-three tie with Liverpool sandwiched in between.

The trip to face Manchester United on 10 October looks very optmistic, while the home contest with Coventry City on 19 October appears touch and go.

Mudryk definitely cannot face Chelsea on 24 October, so there is a possibility he might not be seen again until the home match with Crystal Palace on 31 October.
