Ange Postecoglou would be wise to replace Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson at half-time against Aston Villa.

Postecoglou's side dominated the ball in the opening half an hour at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (3 November).

However, it was Villa who took the lead against the run of play in the 32nd minute as Spurs' vulnerability from corners was exposed once again, with Morgan Rogers on hand to divert home.

The half finished 1-0. As a result, Postecoglou has a lot of thinking to do at half-time.

However, he might be reconsidering that choice. The match is crying out for some creative output from Spurs' perspective and something needs to change.

Therefore, Postecoglou should bring off Johnson and shift Dejan Kulusevski to the right, which would allow Maddison to play through the middle.

As per Sofascore, Johnson has completed just 60 per cent of his passes, with none of those key, while he has also made just 17 touches overall.

Zero per cent of his crosses into the box have been accurate while he has also lost the one aerial duel he has contested and given possession away seven times.

With speculation that Maddison might be unhappy in North London, now is the time for Postecoglou to bring him on, and for the Englishman to remind everybody of his quality.
