Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs in England to have won the most major honours.
As a result of their lack of silverware in recent years, younger supporters would be forgiven for mistaking Tottenham for a club with little history.
However, quite the opposite is true, with Spurs one of the most successful football clubs in the English game, having won 25 major honours.

Tottenham Hotspur league trophies
For all of their success in cup competitions throughout their history, Tottenham have struggled to replicate this in the league.
It has been more than 60 years since the Lilywhites last won the top-tier title, which they have won just twice in their entire history.

Tottenham Hotspur FA Cup trophies
Only Arsenal and Manchester United have won more FA Cup trophies than Tottenham Hotspur.
On 6 May 1961, Bill Nicholson’s Spurs side became the first team in the 20th century to win the double when they won the FA Cup as well as the top-flight title.
With eight FA Cup successes to their name, Tottenham are the joint-third most successful side in the history of the competition, alongside Chelsea and Liverpool. However, it has now been more than 30 years since the Lilywhites last won the FA Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur European trophies
Tottenham Hotspur became the first British club to win a European trophy on 15 May 1963 when they beat Atlético Madrid 5-1 in the European Cup-Winners Cup Final in Rotterdam.
In addition, Spurs have won the UEFA Cup, now known as the UEFA Europa League, three times in their history.
Ange Postecoglou ended the North London club’s 17-year wait for a trophy on 21 May 2025 as Tottenham beat Manchester United 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League final.

Tottenham Hotspur’s other trophies
As well as their vast success in the FA Cup and Europe, Tottenham have experienced plenty of joy in the League Cup and FA Charity Shield.
Spurs’ most recent trophy success came in 2008 when they beat London rivals Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley to win the League Cup.
