Tottenham set for ‘major £10m+’ financial boost as Daniel Levy secures latest deal
Tottenham are set for a significant financial injection as Daniel Levy has secured another lucrative deal.
The Lilywhites are hotly anticipating new additions to the squad in the summer as a miserable campaign comes to a close.
Levy will be aware of the pressure on his shoulders to continue investing in the first team, and has taken measures accordingly to guarantee an increase in available funds.
The windfall from Champions League qualification via the Europa League could also contribute, but it all depends on whether Spurs can navigate past Manchester United at the San Mames stadium on Wednesday, 21 May.

NFL returns to North London
Levy’s ability to host stars and major sports events at Spurs has steadily increased, as shown by last year’s financial reports.
Commercial revenue increased by £27.5m in the last year, and is set for a further boost as the North London club is set to host two more NFL games this autumn, with tickets for the games being announced on NFL.com.
The double header will see the Cleveland Browns host the Minnesota Vikings on 5 October before the New York Jets take on the Denver Broncos the following weekend on 12 October at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Normal matchday revenue at Tottenham generates approximately £6m per day, and while those figures may differ in regards to the NFL, Spurs are still set to profit over £10m on the back of this announcement.
Revenue streams | June 2024(£m) | June 2023 (£m) |
Match receipts | 105.8 | 117.6 |
UEFA prize money | 1.3 | 56.2 |
TV and Media | 165.9 | 148.1 |
Commercial and other income | 255.2 | 227.7 |
Total Revenue | 528.2 | 549.6 |
Stadium events a distraction
Levy’s cunning work behind the scenes does not afford Spurs fans any comfort when they languish at the foot of the Premier League table in 17th.
The Lilywhites recognise the grandeur of their stadium, but feel it can never turn into a sanctuary when they feel so disconnected from the results and football on offer.
Not all Spurs supporters have even come round to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium being used as an NFL venue, even though it maximises the stadium’s commercial income.
Purists believe it’s just another example of Levy’s priorities lying elsewhere and worry that the financial might of the club may skew the chairman’s assessment of current affairs in North London.
