Joe Lewis shuts Daniel Levy up again as latest Tottenham move revealed
Daniel Levy still can't help himself with comments about Tottenham Hotspur.
Levy's exit in September 2025 was almost celebrated more than the Europa League win in North London.
The Lewis family decided to go down a new route, with more control taken as they look to kick onto the next level.
Everybody knows that didn't go to plan last season, with a second consecutive 17th-placed finish in the Premier League.
But, the arrival of Roberto De Zerbi may have been the golden ticket.
The Italian has already been given more control than any manager ever had while Levy was in control, and it's paying off.
Lewis family inject yet more cash into Tottenham
With players arriving left, right and centre, Spurs are entering the new SCR era with a bang at Hotspur Way.
It's no secret that Tottenham are one of, if not the healthiest, club financially in the entire Premier League.
With top of the range facilities, both on matchday and training, the only thing missing is sustained success on the pitch.
That's where the Lewis family comes into play.
Football London has reported that another £100million has been injected into Spurs, following the same amount back in October.
It's also said that there is more money where that came from, too.
What has Daniel Levy said about Tottenham?
Essentially, he thinks they are being ripped off in deals.
Forget about money on transfers, though, this means so much more than that moving forward.
Levy was invited to add his proportionate share to the £100m to not dilute his portion of the club, but his response his uncertain.
He may not have any serious control at boardroom level, but he is still involved in that capacity.
Even if he believes his legacy will be remembered positively, Tottenham fans will disagree.
If the Lewis family inject a further £100m, on top of the two they already have done, they will immediately pass Levy on a personal note.
Tottenham already have the best facilities in the Premier League, so imagine the added improvements they can continnue to make with this added cash.
The Spurs squad and De Zerbi have no excuses now, they are fully equipped to go on and return to the very top.
That's all the Lewis family will demand in return, forget about Levy and any legacy he is dreaming of.
