Daniel Levy will be fuming at Tottenham after latest on ENIC developments

Daniel Levy continues to float around Tottenham despite his summer exit.

Levy left Spurs back in September, with the Lewis family making it known that they are sticking around for the long haul in North London.

Despite those two developments, Levy still holds significant shares in ENIC, although that has no power regarding Tottenham anymore.

This is at a time when Spurs are struggling drastically in the Premier League, with everything starting to unravel around Thomas Frank.

Coincidentally, that isn’t good news for Levy.

Tottenham failures hold Daniel Levy back

Levy is looking to sell his shares in ENIC too, with almost 30 per cent of shares up for grabs.

David Hellier, a financial journalist for Bloomberg, has shared how the on-field performance of Tottenham may make that harder than first anticipated.

“Daniel Levy’s chances of getting a full price for his ENIC shares aren’t looking any rosier,” he wrote.

Tottenham have slumped to 15th after Crystal Palace’s victory today. And they’re only 6 points ahead of West Ham in 18th, who also won this weekend.”

With crucial games against Newcastle and Arsenal up next, things may get worse before they get any better, too.

What next for Daniel Levy?

Levy was said to value his ENIC shares at £1billion, but that has been described as highly unlikely.

Even when things aren’t looking rosy, the former Spurs chairman is still being shown in the media with money at the forefront of everything again.

After countless failures on the pitch in North London, with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as his legacy, Levy appears to be failing again.

Levy is likely raging at the recent developments as he tries to sell up at ENIC, but he has played a massive role in this downfall too.

Missing out on key transfers such as Morgan Gibbs-White and Antoine Semenyo, as well as selling players like Brennan Johnson when injuries were taking over, it all makes no sense.

Of course, those things are before and after Levy’s shock exit, but it all comes from the same pot.

Levy may be raging, but he only has himself and the Lewis family to blame for years of complete mis-management from the very top.
