Tottenham told to move instantly for ‘unplayable’ signing after £100m announcement
Daniel Levy’s exit has raised doubts about ENIC’s ownership of Tottenham, with interested buyers continuing to circle.
Former Tottenham executive chairman Levy left his role last month, after more than 24 years in charge of the North London club.
Fans questioned whether the departure would lead to a sale of the club to a new buyer, but no such deal looks to be likely.
ENIC, owned by the Lewis family, rejected an offer from an American consortium for Tottenham, and have confirmed their not-for-sale stance.
However, it has been suggested that ENIC would still consider a sale of Spurs if the right numbers are presented, with any likelihood of those figures materialising unclear.

Tottenham fans want Antoine Semenyo after announcement
Tottenham were linked to Antoine Semenyo in the summer, but the winger ultimately signed a new contract at Bournemouth.
And this season, the 25-year-old has been in scintillating form. In just seven Premier League appearances, Semenyo has already netted six goals and provided three assists.
A direct and powerful left-sided attacker, the winger would appear to be the perfect fit for Tottenham’s left-hand side.
Semenyo’s contract is set to expire in 2030, however, and the Cherries would not be willing to part ways with the forward unless for a significant fee.
Luckily, Tottenham announced on Thursday that the Lewis family trust, via ENIC, has injected £100million of new capital in the club, with the new funds directed at continuing the “focus on driving long-term sporting success.”
Spurs fans reacted immediately, and appeared to know exactly where the money should go.
One fan said: “Wire it straight to Bournemouth please lads, Semenyo and Kudus is unplayable“.
Another called for Harry Kane to arrive with the Cherries winger, telling Tottenham to “get it done!“
Several Spurs fans replied with gifs of Semenyo, with one calling the potential arrival a “January statement signing“.
Tottenham fans will hate what Semenyo said previously
Semenyo would likely cost most, if not all, of that £100m, and, judging by his recent form, he would be worth it, too.
The winger is positively deadly when he gets in and around the opposition’s penalty box, and with incredible pace, strength, and technical ability, can often be spotted beating his man with ease.

But there is one slight caveat for Tottenham to consider when it comes to signing the 25-year-old.
Speaking last year to The Athletic, Semenyo made an admission. “I am an Arsenal fan,” the Ghana international confessed.
“I don’t conflict the two with my job. It is great to play against Arsenal, a team I have watched all my life and I want to play for the top clubs as well. In order for that to happen I need to prove it.”
