Tottenham told to ‘get rid’ of James Maddison after what he did v Chelsea
James Maddison has endured a difficult campaign at Tottenham this season.
The England international has notched nine goals and five assists in 28 Premier League matches this season.
However, he is a rod for criticism due to Spurs’ struggles with the inconsistent nature of his performances often frustrating supporters.

Maddison epitomises Tottenham woes against Chelsea
Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham is up in the air and Maddison’s performance against Chelsea (3 April) epitomised the problems that the Australian is facing.
The former Celtic man cannot seem to get his players to perform and the 28-year-old had a very quiet night at Stamford Bridge as Spurs slumped to another disappointing result in a 1-0 defeat.
The former Leicester star had just one touch in the opposition box, one shot and failed to create a single chance despite being the main creative threat in the Lilywhites’ arsenal. [Fotmob]

Tottenham supporters turn on Maddison after Chelsea shambles
Maddison’s performance against the Blues has caused a significant amount of anger within the Spurs fanbase as tensions continue to boil over.
A considerable portion of supporters have urged the North London outfit to sell the former Coventry ace in the summer after his underwhelming display.
Bring me any manager that will get rid of maddison asap

Honestly if we can get rid of Maddison in the summer I’d take it.

We need a genuiner clean out, Levy if is cares at all about the football side is that we need to sell a stack of these players, even for a loss. A heap of them and start again. Son, Odebert, Davies, Bentacur, Maddison, Richy, Sarr, Drag. Just sell them and build, we need leaders.

Dragusin out.
Werner out.
Johnson out.
Richarlison out.
Levy out.
Maddison is the absolute definition of a luxury player. Talent to burn but rarely influences a game. Gets dominated and dissappears against hard working midfield. Like I’ve always said, there’s a reason he’s always been overlooked by the top clubs.

Yet another game gone missing.😫
Agree. If no European football I’d cash in and sell Romero, Bentancur, Bissouma, Maddison & Son. New contract to Deki and make him captain. Sign Dibling and other talented youngsters.

Maddison is one of the best players in the squad at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and he needs to step up in the final stages of the campaign if he is to keep his place in the starting line-up next season.
The Three Lions star needs to work his way back into Thomas Tuchel’s plans after a dismal campaign on a personal level but more importantly, the Lilywhites need him at his best, if they are going to win the Europa League.
It should be a summer of upheaval in N17 and whether Maddison survives, despite supporters’ calls for a sale, remains to be seen.
He is one of the only members of the squad who is willing to take accountability after bad games and he is still a brilliant player on his day.
It would be a mistake to listen to the demands and allow him to leave for greener pastures.
