Tottenham told to ban fan for life after ‘Pathetic’ Isak incident v Newcastle
Tottenham have been told to ban supporters for life after what happened when Alexander Isak scored for Newcastle United in their 2-1 win.
Spurs were on the losing side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (4 January) with goals from Isak and Anthony Gordon cancelling out Dominic Solanke’s opener.
During the game, a video was posted on X of some Newcastle fans in the home end celebrating Isak’s equaliser [@ROTS1882, 4 January].
Tottenham fans unhappy with Daniel Levy
With criticism of Daniel Levy at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium already rife, the video on social media has led to further disgruntlement with the Spurs chief.
The presence of away fans in the home end led supporters to call out the culture at Spurs with comments such as “Daniel Levy’s Tottenham”, “that’s pathetic” and “should be banned” calls.
Some supporters feel as though Levy is putting money and making profit above the importance of supporters and their own experiences at their home stadium.

You can understand the frustration of the supporters. If opposition supporters are in the home end and celebrating goals in an obvious manner, the stewards should be taking action in order to stop this from happening.
If the Lilywhites want to make the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a fortress, it is essential that everyone in the home end is on the same side and spurring the team on together.
While the Tottenham chief has got his side in a stable financial position that should not be taken for granted, supporters will continue to feel let down if home supporters feel as though they are in an unsegregated stadium.
