Tottenham fans want ‘Levy out’ after new announcement – ‘Disgrace’
Tottenham have had a season to forget under Ange Postecoglou, with little light in North London.
The Lilywhites find themselves 14th in the Premier League table with only the Europa League left to play for, which has left plenty of questions being asked of the manager.
Postecoglou has been quick to blame injury issues in his squad for their struggles, arguing that the number of games to be played has increased the pressure.
However, this defence is starting to be dismissed by many, and Daniel Levy is said to be close to finally parting ways with the boss.

Tottenham branded pathetic
There is no denying that Tottenham have struggled with injuries this season, but that is certainly not the only reason behind their downfall.
Having been knocked out of both of the domestic cups, Postecoglou’s side have only got two competitions left now and with players coming back from injury, they should be ready for them.
As the debate about the amount of games goes on, Tottenham have now announced that they are facing Arsenal in a pre-season friendly in Hong Kong.
The game is set to take place on 31 July, but the announcement has not gone down well with supporters.
Not only are Spurs taking on their rivals in a friendly game, but it will be the first ever North London derby played outside of the United Kingdom.
Supporters have labelled Spurs as “pathetic” for the move, with further calls for Levy to leave the club.
Tottenham need to step things up next season
To try and pin Tottenham’s failure this season on just one party is not constructive when it comes to creating lasting change going forward.
You can certainly understand supporters’ frustration at this announcement though as it further suggests that the main focus at Tottenham is bringing in more money rather than prioritising success on the pitch.
Levy may have Spurs in a solid financial position and in a stadium that brings in plenty of finance away from the football, but if that is not being used to create positivity on the field then it has to be questioned if it’s worth it.
Postecoglou needs to win the Europa League if he is to have a chance at keeping his job at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season, but some suggestions say even that may not be enough, with Andoni Iraola favourite to step into the role.
Manager | Win rate |
Andoni Iraola | 40.26% |
Ange Postecoglou | 48.28% |
It does feel though that until those higher up are prepared to change their priorities, it will bring about a lack of long-term change.
