Tottenham fans identify player set to follow in Kolo Muani’s footsteps
Randal Kolo Muani will not be the last player to make history at Tottenham.
Tottenham signed Kolo Muani on loan from PSG on the final day of the summer transfer window.
He was expected to start for Tottenham against Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League. Instead, he came off the bench in Spurs’ win against Villarreal, where a Luiz Junior own goal separated the two sides.
However, a victory on the night was not the only thing won at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham fans predict Luca Williams-Barnett to be Legacy Number 900
Kolo Muani was awarded Tottenham Legacy Number 899 when he debuted against Villarreal.
There has been copious speculation on who could become number 900, with new signing Kota Takai flagged as a possible candidate. The defender has been sidelined for Spurs with an injury since arriving from J-League side Kawasaki Frontale in the summer.
However, the vast majority of Tottenham fans took to X on Wednesday, 17 September, to suggest Academy starlet Luca Williams-Barnett could debut for Tottenham against Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup.
One fan said: “Give Luca Williams-Barnett number 900.” Another added: “900 to be a youth prospect vs Doncaster?”
Meanwhile, one more chimed in: “LWB to be 900 v Doncaster.”
Another fan said: “Lwb 900?” While someone else added: “LWB to take 900.”
One more prediced along similar lines: “Luca Williams Barnet number 900.”
What could Luca Williams-Barnett bring to Tottenham?
Tottenham gave Williams-Barnett a two-year scholarship over the summer after an impressive season.
- Williams-Barnett netted 20 goals and provided 12 assists for the Under-18s last season
- The attacking midfielder has three goals and three assists in five games in 2025/26
The Spurs Academy star could add a burst of creativity to Tottenham’s midfield, which Frank has been criticised for in recent days. The midfielder has a keen eye for a pass and can dribble out of danger to create space and put in an inch-perfect pass into the area.
He also has a keen eye for goal, which could come in handy. But even if Williams-Barnett does not debut against Doncaster, there is no doubt he’ll be important in the future.
