Tottenham fans convinced Harry Kane return is happening after bombshell transfer news

Tottenham fans have their eyes fixed on an emotional return for Harry Kane in the near future.

The Lilywhites’ record goalscorer left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2023 to move to Bayern Munich, and he has quickly established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s biggest stars.

Kane still has close ties with Tottenham, given how familiar he is with both the staff at the club and the players within the squad itself.

He has been linked with a return on several occasions in the last few seasons, but this time around, Thomas Frank and Co. may have genuine reason to believe that it could be on the cards.

Tottenham have a £54m buy-back clause for Harry Kane

Kane is a genuine Tottenham legend, having come through the youth ranks and developed into one of world football’s most dangerous attackers.

As a result, it is no surprise that there is still a significant clamour for the Lilywhites to one day reunite with their former star to wreak havoc on Premier League defences once again.

That dream could now be about to become a reality, as Bayern Munich are expecting the England international to leave before the end of his contract in 2027, according to journalist Raphael Honigstein, via Tottenham Transfer News on X.

Spurs are understood to hold a £54million buy-back clause over the frontman, which has understandably sent fans into huge excitement on X.

The Lilywhites faithful are now dreaming of a possible return for their former hero, with one fan pointing out that a fee of £54m would potentially be a bargain.

Now or never for Harry Kane’s Spurs return

Kane’s return to Tottenham has been speculated plenty of times in the last couple of seasons, but this time around, it is possible that it could actually materialise.

However, while it would be a straightforward decision for Spurs to look to take him back, they must be mindful of the contract that they would try and offer him.

Kane is now 32, and although he has never relied on pace as a key part of his game, he may not have too much time left before his ability starts to wane.

With that in mind, it surely has to be now or never if Spurs are to bring him back to the place where it all began for him.

If they fail to take this opportunity to bring him back to N17, then the moment may well have passed by the time the next chance comes around.
