Tottenham and Manchester United supporters are feeling the pressure hours before their teams face off in the UEFA Europa League final.
Tottenham will compete in a European final for the sixth time on Wednesday (21 May) when they face Manchester United at the Estadio de San Mamés.
Spurs and United supporters have travelled in their thousands in the hope of witnessing their team lift the Europa League trophy.
However, just hours before the two sides take to the pitch at San Mames, some supporters have embarrassed themselves on the streets of Bilbao.

The match allows Spurs and United to claim silverware at the end of difficult seasons and claim a place in next season’s Champions League.
As a result, emotions are running high in both camps, and recent violent footage shows that some supporters have already given themselves a bad name.

16. Manchester United | 37 | 10 | 9 | 18 | 39 |
17. Tottenham | 37 | 11 | 5 | 21 | 38 |
Chaotic footage has emerged on X (21 May) showing fans of both sides clashing on the streets, hours before the final is to be played.
In what looks like an alleyway, fans are seen throwing several items, including a bin, as many of them engage in physical combat.
It is a vicious scene that will no doubt cast darkness on what is expected to be a joyous occasion.
Europa League final preparations are underway at Tottenham
While the scenes in Bilbao may take away from all the positives going into the game, the dedication that Spurs have shown fans should be remembered.
A screening of the final was announced at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and after criticism from Spurs supporters, additional screens on the pitch were confirmed to be placed for the event.
As well as this, it was confirmed that supporters would be provided with free limited-edition scarves to pick up in Bilbao on Wednesday.
While Ange Postecoglou continues to face pressure on his future, delivering Tottenham’s first major trophy in 17 years could be enough to turn things around.
Now with the commitment demonstrated by the North London club, and history to be made, the final could mark the start of a bigger, brighter future for Tottenham.
