Son makes major exit decision after LAFC talks, Tottenham fans react – ‘Disaster’
Tottenham fans have made their feelings about Son Heung-min’s plans for next season clear.
After a decade in North London, Son has been linked with a Tottenham exit after completing his mission of lifting silverware with the Lilywhites.
While the thought of a legend leaving is a tough one, it was believed Son’s exit could convince Cristian Romero to remain put. The Argentine has been linked to Atletico Madrid, but could be named Spurs captain if Son leaves North London.
However, the summer transfer market is known for its surprises, and Tottenham fans have reacted to a brand-new twist.

Son has decided to remain at Tottenham
It was believed that Son had several options if he decided to leave Tottenham, including the possibility of a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahçe.
However, it now seems that the South Korean may be willing to give his all for Spurs one final time.

As reported by Football Asian (4 July), Son has decided to stay at Tottenham this summer.
The Spurs skipper will meet next week with Thomas Frank to finalise his plans to have one last shot at UEFA Champions League success. This comes amid reported talks with LAFC.
However, the response among Tottenham supporters is mixed.
Tottenham could use Son next season
It is understandable why some Tottenham fans would prefer Son left.
The 32-year-old had a disappointing season by his standards, struggling to make an impact in several big matches. However, he could still be useful as a rotational option.
Indeed, Spurs will be competing in the Champions League as well as domestically next season and will need all the options they can get. Furthermore, Son has played in Europe’s elite competition several times already, and his experience and leadership could be valuable.
Therefore, keeping Son as a rotational option for one final season could be the best decision the Lilywhites make this summer.
