Tottenham Hotspur supporters were left fuming after what happened during the Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr fight.
Daniel Levy has pushed for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to play host to various sporting and musical events since it was created in a bid to add extra finances to the club.
It’s one of the reasons why Spurs have been so profitable and are able to run so positively as a business in an industry where it’s increasingly difficult to turn any form of profit.
The stadium was created to be a multi-purpose venue, and Saturday’s (26 April) boxing fight was an example of what it is capable of.

While Spurs fans are happy to see the stadium used to gain financial value that is able to be reinvested into the squad, they were not happy with the presentation.
The entire stadium was lit up red at points throughout the night, which is something that many Spurs fans felt was disgraceful due to those being the colors of their London rivals Arsenal.
However, the worst offence of the night in the eyes of fans took place when ‘North London Forever’ was blasted out across the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Cheavon Clarke is a lifelong Arsenal fan, and the British cruiserweight used the Gunners’ iconic anthem as his walkout song while wearing a robe themed to the football club.
Tottenham fans couldn’t believe their eyes and ears when they saw that Arsenal’s song was being allowed to play in their stadium, which led to Levy being called out.
