Arsenal fans furious with ‘atrocious’ incident v Tottenham – ‘He takes his ankles’
Tottenham saw out another encouraging pre-season win as they beat Arsenal 1-0 on Thursday in Hong Kong.
Thomas Frank’s men were very impressive at the Kai Tak Sports Park and could have easily netted more against their North London rivals.
Things are no doubt looking positive for Spurs as they look to quickly bounce back from last season’s poor domestic performance.
Against the Premier League runners-up, Tottenham showed many promising signs, with Pape Matar Sarr netting the only goal of the game.
However, many Arsenal fans were unhappy with the officials during the derby.

Arsenal fans claim Pape Matar Sarr’s goal should have been ruled out
After a strong start to the first half, Tottenham made their dominance count.
A poor pass from David Raya to Miles Lewis-Skelly allowed Richarlison and Sarr to pounce and win the ball.
With the keeper off his line, Sarr then took the opportunity to have an audacious shot from nearly the halfway line, which nestled into the net.
However, many Arsenal fans were unhappy that the goal stood, and claimed that Richarlison had actually fouled Lewis-Skelly in the build-up.
However, many other Arsenal fans were equally displeased with Raya for the poor decision to pass to Lewis-Skelly while he was under pressure.
Thomas Frank continues to impress in pre-season
Frank has completely turned Spurs around so far. From a side that couldn’t create or defend, Tottenham now seemingly do both with ease.
While Ange Postecoglou’s sacking was controversial, it now appears to be the right decision, with the Dane no doubt getting the best out of his players this summer.

Now, the challenge for the manager is to ensure that this continues into the competitive season.
Chelsea proved in the Club World Cup that PSG are beatable, and if Frank can lift this trophy next month, it will be a fantastic start to his tenure.
Hopefully, this will become a reality, and Spurs add two cups to their collection within months.
