Mikey Moore told to quit Tottenham after what Ange Postecoglou has done

Tottenham fans are urging Mikey Moore to quit the club after what Ange Postecoglou did on Sunday.

Moore has been a rare shining light in what has been a largely disappointing season for Tottenham, one which could lead to Postecoglou being sacked by Daniel Levy soon.

The 17-year-old has burst onto the first-team scene and demonstrated to Spurs supporters that there is reason to be excited about the future in North London despite this season’s struggles.

However, those supporters will only be excited if the teenager remains with the club, with fears emerging that Moore could quit Tottenham after Postecoglou’s recent comments.

And after what has happened ahead of kick off against Bournemouth in the Premier League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 9 March, it seems as though fans would understand if Moore chose to move on from the North London club.

There was an expectation that Moore would start against Bournemouth after Spurs’ front three failed to produce in the 1-0 defeat to AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 at the AFAS Stadion on Thursday (6 March).

However, the England youth international hasn’t started, and hasn’t even been named among the substitutes for the clash with the Cherries.

As a result, supporters are urging Moore to seek pastures anew after Postecoglou’s decision to leave the forward out entirely on Sunday.

Moore has every right to fume with Postecoglou

Moore is still an incredibly young player.

Therefore, it is understandable that he might not consistently make the starting lineup.

However, to not even name the winger among the substitutes against Bournemouth is simply inexcusable from Postecoglou, especially considering the way some of Spurs’ other forwards have played in recent weeks.

The likes of Brennan Johnson, Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert in particular have done nothing to prove that they should be starting ahead of Moore.

Therefore, the young Spurs academy gem has every right to fume at Postecoglou.
