Mathys Tel ‘casually hints he doesn’t want to sign for Tottenham’ – reaction
Mathys Tel has felt the rage of the Tottenham Hotspur fanbase for his latest social media content.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan in London from Bayern Munich until the end of the season, with Spurs having the option of making it a permanent deal for £45million in the summer.
The France Under-21 international has yet to set the world alight since moving to the Premier League side, scoring just once for the club to this point.
Tel has been used in various positions across the frontline as Ange Postecoglou attempts to get the best out of him during this time, but things simply haven’t clicked.
The teenager did showcase his passion when splitting up an argument between Postecoglou and a fan after their recent loss against Fulham, but it also appears that he has great respect for one of Marco Silva’s players.

Mathys Tel reopened an old Tottenham wound
Tel recently shared an Instagram update where he put together a series of random photographs to highlight what he has been doing lately in life.
One picture caught the attention of fans as Tel was wearing a Willian Fulham shirt, which is something that left few people impressed.

The Fulham winger is not a popular figure within the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to the controversy surrounding his transfer to Chelsea.
Willian had infamously been set to sign for Spurs at the time to replace Gareth Bale, but he opted to change at the last minute and join their local rivals in blue, which is something fans haven’t forgotten.
Tottenham fans don’t expect Mathys Tel to stay
Spurs fans were disappointed to see Tel posting a picture of himself wearing a Willian shirt after he played for three other London clubs, and because of the transfer saga involving their own team.
It’s a situation that remains raw for supporters, and many believe that this photograph shows that Tel doesn’t intend to stick around at the club on a long-term basis.
The Tottenham fanbase were quick to let Tel know that he was in the wrong for sharing his respect for Willian, and the winger responded by taking that picture out of his post.
