Levy told to quit Tottenham immediately as new statement released – ‘Get him gone’
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has come under continued pressure from supporters throughout the season.
The 63-year-old has been slammed in his role by fans for many seasons, coinciding with constant failure of the Spurs side on the pitch, most recently under Ange Postecoglou.
In 24 years under his stewardship, the Lilywhites have picked up just one piece of silverware which has seen sections of the N17 fan base demand for his exit.
That is unlikely to get any better in the coming weeks after a fresh financial announcement was made at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham fans react to financial losses statement
As the end of the financial year comes around, plenty of Premier League outfits are reporting their profits and losses for 2023 to 2024.
The Lilywhites have announced decreased revenues of £528.2million, down by 4 per cent from the previous year, while profit from operations increased to £144.9m.
In response to this development, Levy spoke out to give some reasoning behind this disappointing monetary blow in N17.
He said: “We currently find ourselves in 14th position in the Premier League, navigating what has been a highly challenging season on the pitch.
“Recruitment remains a key focus, and we must ensure that we make smart purchases within our financial means. A closer examination of today’s financial figures reveals that such spending must be sustainable in the long term and within our operating revenues.
“We cannot spend what we do not have, and we will not compromise the financial stability of this club – indeed, our off-pitch revenues have significantly supplemented the lower football revenues this year, a testament to our diversified income strategy.”
However, it is fair to say that this hasn’t washed well with supporters, who have said, “Get him gone,” in response to the statement.
Tottenham must improve in the summer
Even with the latest financial blow, there will be no excuse for a lack of improvement in N17 across the course of the summer transfer window.
Before the start of the current season, Archie Gray and Dominic Solanke were the biggest additions, with the latter costing a club-record fee.
The England international will be confident of having a better campaign next time around but needs to be added to by a string of high-quality additions.
Name | Signed from | Fee |
Timo Werner | RB Leipzig | LOAN |
Archie Gray | Leeds United | £30m |
Dominic Solanke | Bournemouth | £65m |
Wilson Odobert | Burnley | £25m |
Total | £120m |
Whether that will be possible after this statement from Levy is unclear, but it won’t be good for the chairman if that isn’t the case.
The Lilywhites supporters are unlikely to move on quickly in their distant for the front man in North London as protests continue.
If Spurs don’t move into the new year with a marked improvement under Postecoglou, the Australian could be the fall guy in another failure from the chairman.
