Tyrese Hall ‘to make Tottenham transfer exit’ as ‘difficult’ admission emerges
Tyrese Hall looks destined to leave Tottenham on loan this summer after what has happened to the midfielder this season.
Ange Postecoglou has been without a host of first-team players in recent months as a result of a severe injury crisis at Tottenham.
Therefore, teenagers such as Mikey Moore, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have all had the opportunity to establish themselves as first-team players.
Postecoglou has even handed first-team debuts to Damola Ajayi and Callum Olusesi, who were both playing with Spurs’ Under-18s last season. However, for some reason, Hall hasn’t been afforded the same opportunity, despite featuring heavily in pre-season.

Hall to find Tottenham breakthrough ‘difficult’
Hall has proven during his time with the Under-21s that he deserves a first-team opportunity at Tottenham. However, Postecoglou is yet to hand it to the midfielder.
As a result, Hall could be keen to move on this summer, and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – expects the 19-year-old to head out on loan.
“I think it will be difficult for Hall because of the number of players returning,” Wenham said.
Tottenham Under-21s | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Tyrese Hall | 33 | 8 | 7 |
“Spurs’ bench is getting stronger and stronger as the weeks go by. Therefore, you’re not going to see many of the Under-21 players in matchday squads anymore.
“In addition, Brandon Austin, Djed Spence, and Dane Scarlett are all players who have now established themselves in the squad after looking out of favour previously. As a result, Hall just needs to keep working hard until the end of the season, then in the summer, he can leave on loan.”

Postecoglou should hand Hall a chance at Tottenham
While Spurs’ bench will get stronger in the coming weeks, there will still be opportunities for Postecoglou to hand Hall his first-team debut.
As attention turns toward the UEFA Europa League, the Premier League will take something of a backseat, with Spurs fighting for very little in England’s top flight at the moment. Therefore, Postecoglou might choose to rotate, which could afford him the chance to hand minutes to some of Spurs’ younger players.
And if that chance does arise, the Australian needs to hand Hall his debut, to prove to the player that there is a pathway and a future for him at Tottenham.
Otherwise, the youngster could become unsettled, and Spurs might lose a very talented prospect.
