Tottenham youngster Mikey Moore absence reason revealed
Tottenham attacker Mikey Moore may be out for multiple games with a severe illness, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that his extended absence will have taken a toll on his fitness as he has not been available for a while.
The last match the 17-year-old played in was the EFL Cup clash against Manchester City on 30 October.
Discussing the state of play with Moore exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.
“This really comes down to what he has or hasn’t been able to do while ill,” he said.
“If he’s been in bed and not eating, then that can significantly impact his fitness levels and conditioning which requires a longer runway.
“Based on his absence, it does sound on the more severe side and he may still be out for multiple games.“
Mikey Moore’s absence for Tottenham may be a cause for concern
It’s rare to see an illness keep a player out this long but that appears to be the case with Moore.
Whenever asked about him, Ange Postecoglou keeps saying that he is not ready to return to the first team.

Hopefully, he has not suffered something long-term as he’s still only 17 and has over a decade left in the game.
