Tottenham v Luton Town injury news: Destiny Udogie update emerges
Destiny Udogie is expected to be back at 100 per cent ahead of the Tottenham v Luton Town clash on 30 March, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the fact he’s played 90 minutes in the Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Fulham clashes suggests he’s perhaps recovered from a suspected knee inflammation.
The 21-year-old was out of action for almost a month after Spurs beat Brighton 2-1 on 10 February.
Discussing the state of play with van de Ven exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “If he’s not already at 100 per cent, then as close as he may get to it considering he may have some residual soreness in that area and most players are nursing something at this point.
“He’s played 90 minutes three matches in a row before the break and that’s as good as it gets.
“As always, the club physio will be monitoring him throughout training and see how he responds.
“He is one of their main players and he seems all good not just to start but to play the full 90 minutes again.“
Udogie’s injury recovery is a major boost for Tottenham
The Italian left-back has not taken long to prove why the Spurs hierarchy rated him at such a young age.
Despite being only 21, he has already proven himself to be one of the more accomplished full-backs in the top flight.
He’s also got two goals to his name and offers Spurs a lot in the final third but is also seldom caught napping with his defensive duties.

Hopefully, he manages to avoid any more injuries until the end of the season with a Champions League spot up for grabs.
