Tottenham v Fulham: Doctor shares Richarlison injury update amid knee issue
Tottenham striker Richarlison is expected to be available for the game against Fulham on 16 March, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that his knee setback was likely a Grade 1 which is not a major blow for the Brazilian.
He has been training with the team and was even spotted ahead of the game so he’ll need to pass a late fitness test before being available.
Discussing the state of play with Richarlison exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “This is very likely a Grade 1 knee injury based on him returning to training after only a few matches.
“I imagine he will be in contention if he’s training multiple times without issue.
“He did give a positive update at the start of the month that it wasn’t too serious and he will be expected to return soon.
“He’d need to pass a late fitness test if he is to play on the weekend and it looks like he’s in contention for it.“
Richarlison’s return from injury huge boost for Tottenham
Richarlison has managed to silence his critics perfectly this season after a slow start to life in the capital.
In 27 Premier League games, he found the back of the net just once and provided only three assists.
This time around, however, in 22 league appearances, he’s already scored ten goals and has also provided three assists.

Ange Postecoglou will be delighted that his injury was not too serious and fans will be hoping he manages to stay fit after prolonged spells on the sidelines.
