Tottenham told to be ‘worried’ amid remarkable reveal involving Arsenal
Thomas Frank has been warned he quite simply needs to improve Tottenham’s home form.
The Lilywhites have won just three games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their last 17 games.
The statistic is astounding and has begun to worry Spurs fans, especially with the team eager to compete on multiple fronts this season.
Tottenham face Chelsea at home on Saturday, and no one needs to remind supporters how the match was where it all started to go wrong for Ange Postecoglou at Spurs during his first season.
As a result, Frank will be keen not to repeat the mistakes of the past on 1 November.

Tottenham lead Arsenal in ‘worrying’ home game stat
Aston Villa defeated Tottenham 2-1 in their last match at home, which made it 40 losses since the stadium opened in 2019.
The pressure is mounting on Frank to deliver consistent results, especially after Spurs’ 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Wednesday saw them exit the Carabao Cup.
But as much as that defeat would’ve stung, speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Tottenham expert and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham believes their home form should be Frank’s biggest priority.
“We’ve lost 40 games since we moved there, and we only moved there in 2019,” Wenham said.
“I mean, I think Wolves have got about five of those wins; the home form has become abysmal. We left White Hart Lane with 17 wins, two draws, compared to the nonsense that we’re talking about now, 40 defeats already.

“We must have already had more defeats than Arsenal have had at the Emirates, who have been there for about 15 years longer than us. So, yeah, it’s worrying. It’s absolutely a worry.”

Thomas Frank’s record vs Chelsea is cause for concern
Frank’s record against Chelsea will not fill Spurs supporters with much optimism heading into the confrontation.
- The Dane has won three in nine against the Blues
- He has lost three and also drawn three
Spurs’ home form this season has not been much better, with their last win coming against Burnley at the start of the season. Meanwhile, Chelsea have won two of their four away games this season.
As a result, Frank will be looking to improve his personal and Tottenham’s home record against the Blues on Saturday.
