Tottenham to seal ‘Superb’ Marc Guehi transfer after Cristian Romero exit news
Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi could replace Cristian Romero at Tottenham.
The Argentina star looks set to leave North London despite a brilliant performance in the Europa League final win against Manchester United.
The centre-back is understood to be keen to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to join Atletico Madrid in a deal that could be worth over £40million.
Spurs hold an interest in the Palace defender and have been urged to make a deal happen.

Tottenham backed to make Guehi move already
Ange Postecoglou’s side reportedly made a £70million bid for Guehi on the winter deadline day and they seem set to follow that interest up in the summer.
Famous commentator Ian Darke believes that Spurs should allow the Argentine to leave and replace him with the Eagles star.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “Romero has been patchy, he has been injured a lot of the time, and the time is right to make a change.
“I think whoever signed Guehi, if he were to be sold by Palace, it would be a superb signing.
“I think he is an ultra-solid, good defender who is probably going to be in England’s team for a while.
“If you are a recruitment guy, you are looking for players who give you seven out of 10, maybe more, each week, he is like that, you can rely on him to put in a good shift every week.
“Tottenham have not had many players who have been able to do that this season.”

Romero is not reliable enough for Tottenham
Postecoglou has not been able to rely on Romero this season, and he has been injured consistently, which has not helped the Lilywhites’ struggles.
The 27-year-old has made just 18 appearances in the Premier League, which has contributed to a dismal league standing of 17th for the N17 outfit.
| Stats (Premier League) | Guehi | Romero |
| Matches | 34 | 18 |
| Ground duels won | 168 (59.2%) | 89 (61%) |
| Aerial duels won | 69 (53.9%) | 42 (60.9%) |
| Minutes played | 3,059 | 1,420 |
Now may be the perfect time for Daniel Levy to sell the World Cup winner as his contract expires in 2027, and his value will go down the closer that he gets to the renewal date.
It makes sense to sell while his stock is high.
Guehi would be the perfect replacement, he has played 34 league matches this campaign and has proved his quality in another fine season for Oliver Glasner’s side.
