Tottenham ‘to accept £100m Son Heung-min bid’ – Exclusive
Son Heung-min’s time at Tottenham could be drawing to an emphatic close.
The universally adored Spurs captain inscribed himself into Tottenham folklore this season by lifting the Lilywhites’ first major honour in 17 years.
In doing so, Son surpassed the achievements of many of his predecessors, yet the deadly forward has lost some of his stardust this season.
The former Bayer Leverkusen player has struggled for fitness and form at times, with Ange Postecoglou starting the South Korean on the bench in the UEFA Europa League final.
Therefore, as the skipper approaches his 33rd birthday next month, Tottenham could accept a mega-money transfer offer for their decade-long servant.

Tottenham ‘would accept £100million from Saudi Arabia for Son’
Tottenham are yet to bring in a new face to North London this summer, despite securing extra funding by qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
According to The Telegraph (3 June), Son could leave Tottenham, with clubs in the Saudi Pro League interested in his services.
Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes Played |
Premier League | 30 | 7 | 10 | 2,117′ |
Europa League | 10 | 3 | 1 | 671′ |
FA Cup | 2 | – | 1 | 121′ |
Carabao Cup | 4 | 1 | – | 280′ |
The skipper still possesses the ability to produce magical moments, while his output this season has been fairly consistent, despite not hitting the elevated heights he set for himself in previous years.
And ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Daniel Levy would demand £100m for Son.
“Tottenham would accept £100m for Son,” King said.
“He has one year left on his contract. However, Harry Kane also had one year left on his contract, and they’re roughly the same age. This is a major player we’re talking about; Tottenham will want £100m.
“Where is he going to go, Saudi Arabia? That also could explain an offer of that kind of money. That would be the kind of money which would make Son available to be sold to a club in Saudi Arabia.”

Son’s minutes need to be managed to get the best out of him
Injuries to virtually every player in Tottenham’s squad this season pushed their players to their limits, including the captain, who Postecoglou announced was playing through a foot injury in the last few weeks of the season.
The inability to rotate the 32-year-old negatively impacted his performances, yet he still recorded over 20 goal contributions throughout the campaign.
Son, who still travels halfway across the world at every opportunity, would likely benefit from a less focal role and could still prove extremely useful if played more sparingly in certain games.
