Tottenham tipped to strike last-minute Garnacho agreement with Man Utd – Exclusive
Tottenham have the chance to sign Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho this summer.
The Red Devils are keen to sell Garnacho after Ruben Amorim made clear he was not in his plans.
The Argentine is said to be ready for a new challenge away from Old Trafford next season.
Daniel Levy has been hunting attacking options all summer. After signing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, Garnacho could become the latest forward to arrive at Hotspur Way.

Garnacho to Tottenham could happen on deadline day
As reported by the Mail Online (16 July), Tottenham have been monitoring Garnacho’s deteriorating situation at United.
This is in addition to Chelsea and Aston Villa, who are both interested in signing the Man United outcast this summer.
Player | Season | Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Alejandro Garnacho | 2024/25 | Manchester United | 58 | 11 | 10 |
However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes there is a small chance that Spurs will put pen to paper, and if they did, it could be a shock deadline day transfer.
“I can’t really see Garnacho joining Tottenham if I’m being honest with you,” Wenham said.
“I think Spurs are so heavily stacked out wide now. He would expect to be a starter; he would be on very decent money, I imagine. I just can’t see that one.
“The only way I could possibly see Garnacho and that deal happening would be literally on the last day of the window. United haven’t been able to move him anywhere else, and Tottenham see it as an exciting market opportunity where you’re getting the player.
“Man United are covering 50-70 per cent of the salary, because they just want to remove the player, and they’ll see it as you at least someone’s picking up 30 per cent. Other than that, I just can’t see that happening.”

Tottenham should sign an alternative to Garnacho
Based on talent alone, Garnacho would appeal to Frank and Spurs this summer. The Argentine can operate on both wings and in the attacking midfield.
However, Tottenham should seek an alternative to the 21-year-old if another forward is to be signed.
The North London club have already shown an interest in Yoane Wissa, who played under Frank at Brentford. A move for him would be the better and more logical option, considering he is a proven Frank player.
But with Kudus in addition to Son Heung-min, Brennan Johnson, Mathys Tel, and Mikey Moore already established on the wings, there remains the question of whether Spurs needs to add another to the mix.
