Tottenham set for lucrative £30million agreement after Sky News update on Tuesday
John Wenham believes Tottenham will be seeking a £30million sponsorship deal this summer after a Sky News update emerged on Tuesday (16 April).
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose believes that the North London club will have a brand-new training kit sponsor next season.
It comes after Sky News reported (16 April) that Spurs’ current training wear partner, Getir, is looking at a string of asset sales amid crunch restructuring talks.
Getir signed a three-year agreement with Tottenham back in 2021 to become the club’s first-ever official training wear partner (via The Grocer, 2 September 2021).
And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – feels that Spurs will be looking for a more lucrative deal this summer.
“Getir are looking to make some financial savings. In my opinion, that hints toward the club having a new training kit sponsor next season,” Wenham said.
“Tottenham agreed a deal of £5million per season with Getir over three years, and in that time the club has grown massively, and I think they will be looking to double that total.
“That means they would be looking for £10million a season this time around, perhaps once again over three years, and with Getir looking to make cuts, I think we can safely assume that deal will be with a new sponsor.”
Daniel Levy continues to find creative ways to boost the finances at Tottenham
It is difficult to deny Daniel Levy’s brilliance when it comes to making money at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
His work over the past few years has seen the club become a commercial powerhouse off the field, and those increased finances can only be a good thing going forward.

While the sponsor on Spurs’ training kit might not be of too much interest to supporters, if any money from that sponsorship agreement is put toward some new signings, those supporters might perhaps become slightly more intrigued.
In other Tottenham news, Ange Postecoglou can no longer trust an “aggressive” player at the club and should axe him against Arsenal.
