Tottenham rising star has agents asking about him amid Fabrizio Romano update

Tottenham have a host of impressive young players, and one of those players already appears to be in high demand.

Despite all the chaos surrounding the first team this season, Spurs’ academy has given supporters plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the future in North London.

Tottenham have been working hard in recent weeks, agreeing contracts with a host of their talented Under-18 players, such as shot-stopper Sam Archer, which could lead to another goalkeeper leaving Spurs.

In addition, the club’s Under-21 captain Callum Olusesi recently agreed a new four-year deal at Hotspur Way, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, it appears as though Spurs have another young player who might be the most exciting of all their academy hopefuls.

Dexter Oliver is a man in demand at Tottenham

It was recently confirmed by Roc Nation Sports International, who boast clients such as Kevin De Bruyne and Vinicius Jr, that Tottenham’s Dexter Oliver had signed with the agency.

This news was relayed to X by Fabrizio Romano (24 March). As a result, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has had agents contacting him, trying to find out more about Oliver.

“Oliver is an excellent player,” Wenham said.

“However, he doesn’t have any social media presence. I’ve had about 10 messages over the past year from agents asking me who his agent is, what social media he has or if I know his family, which should explain just how good he is.

“People know about him already. He made his Under-18s debut when he was 14 or 15. He looks the part, strong on the ball, and he can play across the attack. Now he’s signed up with a big agency, and Romano is tweeting about him. He’s a good player and will be a prominent part of the Under-18s next season.”

Tottenham need to tie Oliver down to long-term deal

It looks as though Spurs have a real gem on their hands with Oliver, considering the kind of attention the 16-year-old is receiving.

Therefore, once he is eligible to sign a professional contract at Hotspur Way, Tottenham might want to think about agreeing on a long-term deal with Oliver.
