Tottenham ‘ready to sell several players’ as Gibbs-White claim shared – Exclusive

Tottenham still have plenty of work to do this summer as the Morgan Gibbs-White saga drags on.

Daniel Levy has made it no secret that he wants to sign Gibbs-White this summer.

The midfielder has been incredible for Nottingham Forest, who are reluctant to let him leave. However, Spurs are continuing to push for a deal in North London, while also focusing on outgoings.

Gibbs-White to be last Tottenham signing before outgoings

As reported by Fabrizio Romano via his YouTube channel on Monday (21 July), the focus at Tottenham remains on closing the Gibbs-White deal.

Should he arrive, the Forest midfielder will be added to a huge squad.

As a result, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes that Spurs will not make any signings other than Gibbs-White until players have been moved on.

“I think the priority right now will be Gibbs-White,” Wenham said.

“Tottenham are really struggling in terms of the number of non-homegrown players in their European squad. Therefore, I just can’t see any signings other than Gibbs-White.

“I can’t see any more incomings until there are several outgoings.”

Thomas Frank will likely be delighted with the talent that he has at his disposal. However, Levy will no doubt be breaking a sweat over balancing the books.

As a result, the 63-year-old will be looking to sell some players over the next couple of weeks.

Richarlison is one player expected to depart Hotspur Way this summer. The Brazilian has failed to live up to his £60million price tag, and constant injuries have made him unreliable over the years.

Furthermore, Yves Bissouma is another player who is tipped for an exit. However, convincing him to leave Tottenham will not be easy, and he could end up staying for at least another season.

As such, if Levy does not find a solution for these players before the market closes, Gibbs-White may be the final addition to Frank’s squad. However, Spurs’ recent activities in the window could indicate that they are confident of more sales this summer.
