Tottenham midfielder to leave on loan after contract development
Tottenham will be looking ahead to the summer after winning the UEFA Europa League, with one midfielder expected to leave on loan after a new contract development.
Ange Postecoglou led Tottenham to a 1-0 victory against Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final at the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday (21 May).
Therefore, with their first major trophy in 17 years secured and UEFA Champions League football to come, the Lilywhites will hope next season exceeds the previous.
As a result, Daniel Levy will be looking to make moves in the summer transfer window, with one midfielder set to leave on loan.

Rio Kyerematen ‘to leave Tottenham on loan’
Kyerematen earned a spot on the bench for Spurs’ 3-0 victory against Elfsborg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Europa League (30 January).
As reported by Lilywhite Rose (17 May), the 19-year-old has signed a new long-term contract with Tottenham after existing terms were set to expire on 30 June.

However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Kyerematen will be forced to wait a little longer for first-team opportunities at Spurs, with a loan move on the cards.
“Kyerematen can play in a couple of positions, which is always helpful,” Wenham said.
“It was only a couple of years ago that he was regularly picked in the same England squads as Alfie Dorrington and Jamie Donley.
“Kyerematen can play at fullback, as a holding midfielder or as a box-to-box midfielder. However, I think he will be looking at a first loan next season after extending his contract. We’re probably looking at a loan to League Two to begin with, to see how he gets on.”
Kyerematen will improve on loan next season
With several talented players in Tottenham’s midfield and Levy needing to invest this summer, Kyerematen would struggle if promoted to the first team next season.
Therefore, a loan move makes more sense for the youngster. However, this recent contract decision suggests he is very much in the long-term thinking at Tottenham.
As a result, the teenager should be motivated to make an impact wherever he ends up playing his football next season.
