Tottenham injury news: Son update emerges for Nottingham Forest clash
Tottenham attacker Son Heung-min appears to be dealing with a tricky foot injury, which has kept him out of action, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert explained that these injuries are tricky due to the high demands placed on them while playing football at that level.
The South Korea international played the first leg against Eintracht Frankfurt but missed the two games after it.

Son not likely to be risked against Nottingham Forest
After successfully qualifying for the Europa League semi-finals, Spurs face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Monday, 21 April.
The North London outfit play host to the high-fliers who aim to be in the Champions League places come the end of the season.
Discussing the state of play with Son exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.
Fixture | Date | Venue |
Tottenham v Bodø/Glimt | 1 May | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium |
Bodø/Glimt v Tottenham | 8 May | Aspmyra Stadion |
“Knocks to the feet can always be tricky because of the complexity of the area and the high demands placed on them during football,” he said.
“This will be one where it’s day to day and his availability depends on how he responds to treatment and activity.
“As they have progressed in the Europa League and will want their best players fit, it is likely he sits out the next one too if he’s not yet back in full training.“

Tottenham have no reason to risk Son for the Forest game
Tottenham must avoid risking Son against Nottingham Forest, even if he’s back in full training, due to his critical importance to the team’s Europa League campaign.
Rushing him back in a meaningless Premier League match could jeopardise his fitness for crucial European fixtures.
With Tottenham already out of contention for significant Premier League objectives, preserving Son for the Europa League, where they remain competitive, is paramount.
His leadership, goal-scoring prowess, and ability to unlock defences are vital for success in Europe, where Spurs aim to secure silverware.
A cautious approach ensures Son is fully fit for high-stakes matches, avoiding the setback of a re-injury.
Ange Postecoglou should prioritise long-term squad health over a low-stakes domestic game, keeping Son primed for the continental stage.
