Tottenham injury news: Manor Solomon likely to spend longer on sidelines due to complicated procedure
The procedure Tottenham attacker Manor Solomon underwent for his meniscus injury was a complicated one, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that having multiple procedures has ensured that the Israeli international’s rehabilitation will also take longer.
This could see the 24-year-old out longer than initially expected with no guarantees of him being back in time right at the start of pre-season.
Discussing the state of play with Solomon’s injury exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “His latest procedure was meniscus related and there are multiple options there in terms of the specifics, which haven’t been provided by the club as it is a complicated one.
“He has now been out for an extended amount of time with multiple procedures which typically creates a longer runway for rehab so he could even be out longer than initially expected.
“With that in mind, it is really difficult to say where exactly he is with his rehab as these are still the initial stages and we’ll have a clearer idea towards the end of May.
“The team will surely be working on his strength, mobility and neuromuscular control but there is a large range there depending on specifics.”
Manor Solomon has barely featured for Tottenham
It has been a difficult season for Solomon as he has battled multiple injury issues, severely restricting his game time.
The ex-Fulham ace could make just five Premier League appearances for the campaign, in which he managed to register two assists.
Given Spurs’ injury crisis, Ange Postecoglou would’ve liked to have an additional option in the final third but Solomon was unavailable for the majority of the campaign.

Hopefully, he undergoes his rehab unscathed and is back stronger for next season.
