Tottenham injury news emerges ahead of Wolves clash

Tottenham defender Ben Davies is expected to miss the Wolves game due to a thigh injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that he could then be back in training in a week or two and look to return in January.

Bryan King stated that he could be out for four or five weeks and that’s understood to be speculative, more than anything else.

Discussing the state of play with Davies exclusively with Tottenham NewsDr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.

We haven’t had any updates other than Ange saying he will go in for a scan and he might be back sooner so I don’t put much into King’s comments,” he said.

“Best case would be a Grade 0 thigh injury, mere discomfort which is day to day and worst case is a Grade 3 rupture which is 10+ weeks depending on whether surgery is needed or not, but that does not seem to be the case.”

I’d still rule him out for the next one but he could be back in training in a week or two.

Tottenham must not rush Ben Davies back into the first-team picture

It makes sense not to rush Davies back for the home game against Wolves on 29 December as he does not seem to be back in training yet.

Hopefully, he can complete his rehab without any setbacks and return to be a stronger player in the New Year.
