Tottenham ‘in the driving seat’ to sign Randal Kolo Muani ahead of Juventus
Tottenham and Juventus are both interested in Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano via X on Monday (13 January), Kolo Muani will “100 per cent leave” PSG during the January transfer window, with the French giants thought to be willing to subsidise the player’s wages to facilitate a move.
Tottenham and Juventus have both once again made contact over a deal, with Ange Postecoglou’s side having been urged to sell one first-team player to fund a move for Kolo Muani.
And ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes if it is a race between Juventus and Tottenham for Kolo Muani, then Tottenham will come out on top.
“Spurs will need to guarantee this player first-team football,” King said.
“That will be the main thing. I also feel Spurs will offer him more money than Juventus will because Juventus aren’t the force they once were. They aren’t exactly setting the Serie A alight, are they?
“They’ve got a big name, but they aren’t behaving like a big club at the moment. Therefore, if it is between Juventus and Tottenham, then I’d say Tottenham are in the driving seat for this transfer.”
Tottenham to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani?
Juventus are arguably a bigger club than Tottenham. Therefore, ordinarily, a lot of players would likely favour a move to Turin over North London.
However, in this day and age, Spurs can no doubt offer players more money. Therefore, if Daniel Levy decides to act seriously – as he already has done with one transfer this month – there is no reason why Spurs can’t beat Juventus to the signing of Kolo Muani.

And should the Frenchman be brought to North London, it would be a huge boost for Postecoglou.
