Tottenham in hunt to sign ‘next Erling Haaland’ – Exclusive

Tottenham have already registered their interest in a Danish wonderkid who could become the next Erling Haaland, according to an expert.

Daniel Levy has been focused on bringing top young talent to Tottenham in recent seasons.

Lucas Bergvall has been a huge success since he arrived in North London at the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign, and the 19-year-old could already be in line for a new bumper contract at Tottenham.

Meanwhile, it is expected that Spurs would only accept an astronomical fee for Archie Gray after the 19-year-old’s successful debut season at Tottenham.

In addition, 18-year-old Croatian defender Luka Vušković is set to arrive in the summer, and Spurs could now look to sign the next big thing out of Norway as they continue to plan for the future.

Tottenham ‘in the hunt for Mikkel Bro Hansen’

Spurs already have a host of exciting young players coming out of their academy, with Callum Olusesi recently signing a four-year contract at Hotspur Way, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, it looks as though the Lilywhites are keen to continue bringing in talent from around Europe, with Bro Hansen in their sights.

Bro Hansen joined Bodø/Glimt in February and marked his senior debut by scoring a hattrick.

Earmarked as the next big thing in Norway, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has shed some light on the 16-year-old.

“This is a player that could follow in the footsteps of Haaland,” King said.

“Bodø/Glimt have been very successful in recent times. Any Premier League club should be looking, and I’m sure Tottenham have already registered an interest in that player because he is at a good club in Norway who have produced some top players who have moved into Europe.

“As I always say, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, you’ll always get that one player who creates interest from these countries. This young player is creating interest because he is 16 and he plays in the Bodø/Glimt first team. There has been a lot of good stuff written about him.”

Tottenham need to act fast with Bro Hansen

Bro Hansen could soon attract the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Therefore, if Tottenham have already registered their interest, they should try to act fast and sign him before a bidding war breaks out. If this player is the next Haaland, signing him now could be seen as a masterstroke by Levy.
