Tottenham in advanced talks over new hire ‘as Levy readies multi-million deal’
Daniel Levy is expected to splash the cash on a brand-new hire at Tottenham.
It has been a miserable season for Tottenham in the Premier League, with the 1-1 draw against West Ham at the London Stadium leaving the North London club 16th in the division.
The Lilywhites still have a chance to reach the UEFA Europa League final.
However, regardless of what happens between now and the end of the season, Ange Postecoglou is expected to leave Tottenham in what looks set to be a summer of change in North London.

Tottenham in advanced talks with Fabio Paratici
As well as Postecoglou’s potential departure, there looks set to be plenty of change behind the scenes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming months.
Vinai Venkatesham will begin work as Spurs’ Chief Executive Officer this summer, and it appears a return for Paratici is now on the cards.
Club | Role | Dates |
Sampdoria | Chief Scout | July 20024-June 2010 |
Juventus | Sporting Director | July 2010-May 2021 |
Tottenham | Sporting Director | July 2021-April 2023 |
As reported by talkSPORT (2 May), talks between Tottenham and Paratici over the Italian making a return to the club are now at an advanced stage.
While nothing is yet signed, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – expects Levy to offer Paratici a very lucrative contract.
“It was widely reported that Paratici was in talks at one point to return to AC Milan,” King said.
“However, that broke down, which means he must have received a better contract offer from Tottenham. I imagine he will be offered a very good contract to return to North London.
“Hopefully, if he does return, he will help inject some quality into the Spurs team in the transfer market. I would imagine that Paratici will be earning millions a year. If Tottenham think Paratici is the man for the job, he will be well paid.”

Paratici could improve recruitment at Tottenham
During Paratici’s time at Tottenham previously, the 52-year-old helped Tottenham sign players such as Cristian Romero, Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
In addition, he was crucial in the Lilywhites’ appointment of Antonio Conte, which was seen as quite a coup at the time. Therefore, his return could be a big boost for Spurs, especially if they’re going to be hunting for a new manager this summer.
