Tottenham have ‘companies queue for new sponsorship deal’ after mega-money news

Daniel Levy could be on the cusp of securing a brand-new sponsorship agreement after a recent multi-million development.

Spurs’ form on the pitch has been dreadful, with the club suffering their 15th Premier League defeat of the season on Sunday (16 March) as they were beaten 2-0 by Fulham at Craven Cottage.

As a result, this led to a clash between Postecoglou and a Spurs fan, which epitomises the mood among the Tottenham faithful at this moment in time.

Therefore, Postecoglou could soon be in trouble, especially with Andoni Iraola waiting in the wings.

However, off the field, the club continue to go from strength to strength, and it looks as though Levy could soon have a new sponsorship deal lined up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham and INEOS reach multi-million agreement

As reported by Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail (16 March), INEOS’ five-year deal with Tottenham, which was scheduled to run until 2027, has been terminated after amicable talks between the two parties.

A pay-off fee has been agreed, which is thought to be in the millions, with Levy and Spurs now seeking a new sponsor in North London.

And ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes companies will be queuing up to take INEOS’ place.

“Spurs will probably go and get themselves a bigger commercial deal now,” King said.

“I’d imagine there are probably companies queuing up to get themselves a sponsorship deal with Tottenham, because remember, it isn’t only football played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

“There are a lot of other things going on, including concerts and the NFL. Therefore, the question is who will it be, and how much money will they need to pay for this deal.”

Levy needs to spend money at Tottenham

It is all well and good to secure big-money sponsorship deals at the club. However, fans will only be interested in these developments if Levy reinvests this money into the squad.

Spurs have struggled this season and are clearly in need of some investment on the playing side of things.
