Tottenham given green signal to seal Morten Hjulmand transfer
Tottenham are reportedly keen on securing the services of Sporting CP midfielder Morten Hjulmand this summer.
The 26-year-old is the captain of the Portuguese side and has been linked with an exit.
Despite facing injury issues last term, Hjulmand made 26 league appearances.

Hjulmand’s ankle injury may need to be checked by Spurs
Spurs may consider looking at the Denmark international’s ankle injury from last season, before deciding to sign him, according to Dr Brar.

Discussing Hjulmand, Dr Brar told Tottenham News: “Spurs may take a closer look at his most recent injury history if it was related to his ankle injury from the start of the season.
“His general availability last season and game time suggest that he should be fine, but it’s still worth checking.
“I do not expect him to have issues adapting to the Premier League, either.”
Tottenham could certainly do with a midfielder like Hjulmand
Tottenham need a midfielder like Hjulmand as he would offer much-needed guile in the middle of the park.
