Tottenham forward to leave on loan after contract development
Tottenham are making some significant squad decisions as they push towards a summer of change.
Thomas Frank is set to become the new manager of Tottenham.
The Dane guided Brentford to a 10th-place finish in the Premier League this season, despite the limited resources at his disposal. This has greatly appealed to Daniel Levy, especially after Spurs finished 17th.
The appointment of Frank is not the first change Tottenham have made or are expected to make. In addition, Frank will not be content to enter the new season without several changes to his squad.
Now, following a new contract development, the Lilywhites are set to agree a loan deal for one forward.

Oliver Irow to leave Tottenham on loan after signing new contract
As reported by Lilywhite Rose (1 June), Oliver Irow has signed a new contract at Tottenham.
The 19-year-old featured as a regular starter for Tottenham’s Under-21s and contributed to seven goals in 21 appearances this season.
Player | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes |
Oliver Irow | 21 | 6 | 1 | 1.128′ |
However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Irow will head out on loan next season, rather than continue with the Under-21s.
“This was a good player for Tottenham to renew,” Wenham said.
“He plays on the right wing mostly and can play up front as well. I’m sure Tottenham will be looking to loan Irow out next season.
“His brother, Blake, will come into the Under-18s next season too, so he has that family connection at the club.”
Tottenham’s youngsters are preparing to take over
The Lilywhites have wasted little time in extending several of their young talents this season.
Irow joins Tyrell Ashcroft [Lilywhite Rose] and fellow Under-21 talent Rio Kyerematen, who have also signed contract extensions with Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Damola Ajayi and Callum Olusesi featured in Spurs’ UEFA Europa League campaign and received winners’ medals.
The trio of Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray and Mikey Moore also featured heavily for the first team this season. Begvall, in particular, cemented himself as a player former boss Ange Postecoglou could rely on.
Therefore, with young players already breaking into the first team and others hoping to follow, Tottenham are set for a future of dominance.
