Tottenham ‘finalising Glancy transfer amid Celtic silence’ – Exclusive
Tottenham are expected to finalise a deal for Celtic’s Conall Glancy as Daniel Levy continues to recruit young talent.
The Tottenham Chairman has been keen to secure all the best footballing talents this summer and is not about to hit the brakes.
Mohammed Kudus has recently arrived at Hotspur Way and has already impressed as Spurs beat Reading 2-0 on Saturday (19 July). Meanwhile, Luka Vuskovic impressed with a goal and an assist.
The Lilywhites have had some success when it comes to Celtic, including the arrival of trophy-winning manager Ange Postecoglou, and now it seems that Spurs are keen to tap into their wealth of players.

Tottenham could ‘finalise deal’ for Glancy
Tottenham have already signed one talented teenager this summer by bringing in Oliver Boast from Leeds United.
In addition, the North London club have been linked with Celtic gem, Glancy.
And Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes that Celtic’s silence on the matter suggests a deal is in the works.
“One that’s linked is a player from Celtic called Glancy,” Wenham said.
“He’s a left winger. He was linked about two months ago, but it’s seemingly all quiet now.
“However, interestingly, Celtic haven’t announced their academy intake, which they normally do by now. So I just wonder if Tottenham are finalising that deal as well.”

Frank should give Spurs’ youngsters more minutes
While Tottenham fans saw several new faces take to the pitch against Reading, a few players remained on the bench for the confrontation.
This included defender Ashley Phillips, who has had two impressive back-to-back loan spells. However, he, along with George Abbott and Yang Min-heyok, remained on the bench for the duration of the game.
This was disappointing for most Spurs supporters who were hoping to see them show off their skills. While it is understandable that Frank only has so many players that he can field, the Dane should look to give them a few minutes against Luton Town on Saturday (26 July).
Event | Location | Kick Off | Date |
Luton Town v Tottenham (pre-season) | Kenilworth Road | 3pm | 26 July |
Pre-season is a great opportunity for him to see how or if they could be useful next season, and it is one he could regret wasting.
