Tottenham fans enjoy ‘fantastic’ moment as terms finalised in North London
Tottenham Hotspur fans are focused on two upcoming events now – the Europa League and a crucial summer.
Spurs must hold a considerable inquest, even if they are to win the secondary European prize this season, towards which they can move a lot closer by overcoming Norwegians Bodo/Glimt over two legs.
Supporters are desperate for ENIC to sell up, for Daniel Levy to leave his post as chairman after almost 25 years, and for their side to prioritise the football again and become competitive in the elite tier of the game.
However, one announcement to emerge from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this week has been received very welcomely.

Lucas Bergvall signs contract until 2031 in ‘fantastic’ development
Tottenham gained some much-needed respite after their latest Premier League defeat on Sunday, which enabled Liverpool to become champions (27 April).
Teenage midfield star Lucas Bergvall has signed a new contract in North London which runs for the next six years, as Spurs look to tie down their most talented prospects.
Brought in as a prodigy for the future, Bergvall has been given more game time than Ange Postecoglou would probably have envisaged when he arrived from Djurgarden in his native Sweden last summer.
TV commentator and football analysis expert Ian Darke has raved over the development, with the 19-year-old having “stepped up in a gloomy season” having featured 45 times in the senior team since his move.
“Bergvall’s contract is fantastic for Tottenham,” Darke exclusively told Tottenham News.
“He’s just a lad, and he’s stepped up when it’s not easy to play in a team who have performed the way they have.
“He features one way or another most of the time, and his new deal becomes one of the bright spots for Tottenham fans in a gloomy season.”

Tottenham will profit from Bergvall – both on and off the pitch
Bergvall has been a shining light this season during difficult times, alongside fellow youngsters such as Archie Gray – who is also on a long-term deal.
The full Swedish international first came to England last July, with the transfer having been agreed in the winter of 2023-24 for an £8.5million fee.

Spurs will undoubtedly profit both on and off the field from the youngster, who has shown incredible ability in an underperforming side and will no doubt drastically improve.
