Tottenham continue to attract interest from US investors after announcement on Tuesday

John Wenham is “not surprised” that American investors continue to circle Tottenham amid a recent update.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose believes that the club’s brand is continuing to grow around the world, which will only attract more interest from investors.

It comes after the Daily Mail reported (28 April) that Daniel Levy is continuing to search for investment with at least two US-based groups having shown an interest in recent months.

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes this interest will only remain.

“I’m not surprised that there is continued interest from American investors in Spurs,” Wenham said.

“The brand continues to grow, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium name continues to ring around the world with all these events which are being announced.

“With the club applying to host 30 non-football events per year as opposed to the current 16, which is almost double, that will only come as a financial benefit and attract more interest.

“So, let’s wait and see what happens.”

Daniel Levy continues to turn Tottenham Hotspur Football Club into a global brand

Spurs are slowly becoming a bigger brand around the globe.

It was announced via the Tottenham Hotspur Official Website on Tuesday (7 May) that Travis Scott will become the latest music megastar to perform in N17 when he takes to the stage on 11 July.

With NFL matches already taking place multiple times per year in North London as well as these concerts by American artists, it is no surprise that investors across the Atlantic are keen to take a slice of the Tottenham pie.

In other Tottenham news, Wenham believes that the club are set for a multi-million windfall after what happened this week.
