Radu Dragusin and Rodrigo Bentancur verdicts emerge in Tottenham team news v Fulham
John Wenham of Lilywhite Rose believes Ange Postecoglou faces a “dilemma” when it comes to naming his Tottenham team against Fulham.
Spurs will travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday (16 March) where three points will be enough to lift them above Aston Villa and into the Premier League top four.
Postecoglou’s side put UEFA Champions League qualification in their hands with their biggest win of the season last time out as they beat Aston Villa 4-0 at Villa Park (10 March).
The North London side will look to build on that momentum on Saturday, and Wenham believes that the strength of Spurs’ squad is beginning to show.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Wenham, the founder of reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, said: “Of course, Radu Dragusin will need to come in for Micky van de Ven but apart from that, I don’t expect any other changes.
“I thought Yves Bissouma and James Maddison both had their best games for a while against Villa, Maddison in particular was outstanding.
“I don’t think Rodrigo Bentancur will be able to get back into the team, which is unlucky for him because I think very highly of him, but it’s just great to have these options in the squad now.
“Hopefully Manor Solomon can return soon, which would give us another exciting option on a bench which suddenly looks really strong.
“Having all of these players available again gives Postecoglou a positive dilemma because suddenly he has a lot of real quality options to choose from.”
Tottenham cannot afford to drop points against Fulham at Craven Cottage
After spending much of his debut season in North London scraping a squad together, Postecoglou will be delighted to finally have the bulk of his team back together.
While the likes of Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon remain sidelined, the Australian once again has all of his players who he would consider as first-team regulars available for selection.
Although van de Ven is unlikely to feature this weekend, his injury isn’t expected to be a long-term one, and the 58-year-old will not accept the Dutchman’s absence as an excuse against Fulham.

Spurs looked back to their very best in the second half against Villa, even after van de Ven had gone off, and there are therefore no excuses for anything less than three points against the Cottagers.
