Pochettino torn to shreds by ex-Tottenham employee as shock images emerge
Mauricio Pochettino could replace Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham as images emerge, although one former Spurs employee is not pleased about this.
Postecoglou is looking increasingly unlikely to keep his job at Tottenham.
Spurs suffered their 15th Premier League defeat of the season, losing 2-0 to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday (16 March), with Postecoglou clashing with a supporter after full-time.
As a result, unless the Australian wins the UEFA Europa League, his time with the club could come to an end after just two seasons.
It seems as though Daniel Levy wouldn’t be short of options to replace Postecoglou either. Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva and Thomas Frank have all emerged as potential contenders.
However, Pochettino is the man leading the way after recent images emerged.

Pochettino favourite to replace Postecoglou at Tottenham
Pochettino is the favourite to replace Postecoglou.
It comes after multiple images of Pochettino and Levy at a coffee shop in North London emerged recently, although it isn’t exactly clear when these photos were taken.
However, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – doesn’t want to see Pochettino anywhere near the club again.
“I wouldn’t have Pochettino back if he was my brother and I was in charge of the club,” King said.
Manager | Win Percentage |
Mauricio Pochettino | 54.27% |
Ange Postecoglou | 48.28% |
“Don’t give me that nonsense. This is him saying all this stuff, it isn’t Tottenham. He just got a job managing the USA, but it seems he isn’t content with that. He got the job at Chelsea and messed that up. He won the league with Paris Saint-Germain, oh how amazing. Who hasn’t won the league with PSG?
“Whoever is putting these stories out about Pochettino, it is fantasy football. How many cups did Pochettino win again? Can you remind me, what did he win?”
Postecoglou will be feeling the pressure at Tottenham
Pochettino was arguably Spurs’ most successful manager of the Premier League era. Therefore, even if there are some reservations, there are also bound to be a lot of supporters who would welcome him back with open arms.
However, Postecoglou is still in charge of Tottenham for now, and talk of Pochettino returning is premature, although with all the noise around him, the current Spur boss has to be feeling the pressure.
